Story

This project dates back to my university days. The task was to take a product from everyday life, analyze it, identify its unique features, and then create your own product under a fictional brand, along with its packaging, based on insights gathered from analyzing similar products.

The process

I decided to work with milk packaging. What variable changes in milk? Exactly — its fat content, and this variable often dictates the color of the packaging, provided it isn’t monochrome. The chosen brand name was 'Molokeevo.' The design idea was kept very simple — what symbolizes fresh milk? A cow’s udder. From there came the decision to creatively stylize the udder and even add a tattoo on it in the shape of a clover.

This was such an interesting student project. We even printed the layout with this design on thick cardboard, assembled the actual packaging, and displayed it for review. This project was showcased in the university exhibition for about six months.

Some time ago, it received recognition at the Design&Design awards, where my work was named Design of the Day, and it was also featured on Packaging of the World.
